I have been dj’ing now for 4 years and play progressive and uplifting
trance
and occasionally the more pumping stuff too.
I first got into dj’ing when I visited clubs like Godskitchen, Gatecrasher
&
PaSSion, I started off playing a wide range of sounds from funky to hard
house but over the years my sound has developed and has been heavily
influenced by people such as DJ Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold & Armin Van Buuren.
I always count myself as a clubber first and I believe this helps me to be
able to give a crowd what they want musically, having been to various nights
around the world coming away disappointed I always give 110%.
I love the interaction with people when dj’ing as it is important for
a
crowd to see that you are enjoying it as much as they are and this will
always show when dj’ing.
I started my DJ career at an event called Seventh Heaven which was a Sunday
club in Dudley, West Midlands which was a lot of fun as the crowd were great
and always up for it.
My DJ career really took off though in December 2001 when I was booked to
play the first ever Motion in Derby by St.John and I haven’t looked
back
since, since then I have took my euphoric and uplifting sound to clubs such
as Hotdog where I played alongside Eddie Halliwell, Lisa Lashes & Rob
Tissera to name a few.
Another highlight for me was playing at M.o.tion & BPM TV party at ClubSoda
on August 10th where I played alongside Les Hemstock (aka Ascension, one
half of massive production duo Hemstock & Jennings) and was filmed and
interviewed by BPM TV for broadcast on TV in early 2003.
I am also involved with several Internet radio stations and can be regularly
heard on Mpfreescene Radio (www.mpfreescene.com) and BPM Radio
(www.bpmradio.co.uk). BPM Radio attracts over 45,000 hits per week from
various corners of the globe and is an ideal way to showcase my abilities
to
a global audience.
I have also had the pleasure of taking my euphoric and uplifting sound to
clubs such as Rubic, Sensoria, Fluffy, Trouse and many other clubs across
the UK.
With many more gigs to come in the future and also the start of production
and studio work in 2003 I strive to keep climbing the DJ ladder and rocking
crowds up and down the country.
