HISTORY

Having been into dance music since the early nineties and a regular visitor to most of Cardiff's underground dance events such as Time Flies and The Hip'po Club, in 1995 Neil found himself on the opposite side of the turntables.

Neil started his DJing career co-promoting 'The Breakfast Club' and he progressed very quickly to playing at a many of Cardiff's leading underground venues including The Model Inn, Hippo Club & Emporium along with a residency at The Asylum Club in Ebbw Vale and a couple of guest appearances in Worcester, England.

Over the past three years Neil has been co-promoting a night called FunkyDory on Fridays and Saturdays each week at The Slug & Lettuce in Cardiff. FunkyDory recently won best pre-club event in the inaugural Welsh Dance Music Awards.

THE FUTURE

Neil is a regular guest at Wales' leading US house night - Lamerica @ The Emporium (Cardiff) along with his FunkyDory residency and to add to this has recently started a club tour to celebrate the 4th Birthday of his website (See below for more info about website).

Events played to date include Smile @ The Viaduct in London, Nukleuz @ Enzo's (Salisbury), Slinky @ Creation (Bristol) plus future bookings include a return to Godskitchen @ Code (Birmingham), Escape @ Escape Club (Swansea) and several other dates are still to be confirmed at other high profile clubs in the UK and abroad. Neil also recently played two events in Finland (Helsinki & Oulu) and has several dates lined up again next year.

Neil's style is soulful US garage, funky vocal house, deep house and also tuff funky house. He can now be found spinning vinyl from the likes of Jon Cutler, Full Intention, John 'Julius' Knight, E Smoove, Cleptomaniacs/Jazz N Groove. His favourite labels include Soulfuric, Defected, Subliminal Soul, Swing City, Slip 'n' Slide, Z Records, Gossip, Henry Street and Look At You.

Neil founded Offitsface.com in early 1999 and from humble beginnings the site is now getting in excess of one hundred thousand page views per month and receives visitors from over one hundred countries as far a-field as Venezuela and Azerbaijan.

The site has received excellent press coverage in the three and a half years it has been running - voted one of the best clubbing websites on Rapture TV and recommended on Graham Gold's Kiss FM show and The Slammin' Boys show on Galaxy 102.

The site itself contains over 2000 pages and has over 70 guest DJ's biographies & mixes, a club listings database, news, articles, competitions and loads more.

As well as DJing and promoting, Neil reviews records on Offitsface.com and his chart is compiled weekly and distributed to hundreds of labels, magazines, DJ's and record shoppers worldwide.With a site the size of Offitsface.com behind him, a growing fan base, and a diary starting to fill up, the future looks bright for Neil.
