I’ve been Djing for 5 years. I started in 1996 when I swapped my mountain bike for a set of decks and a mixer. I already had a love for music but it wasn’t until I got these that I realized how much. I practised for months and months until I was confident enough to start djing at parties. After 3 years of being a bedroom DJ, me and a friend decided to try our luck with putting on our own nights. We approached a local club (The Forvm in Workington) and managed to get control of a Friday night. We promoted it, advertised it, produced out own poster’s/fliers etc... We then decorated the inside of the club and provided our own dancers. After weeks of hard work the night was a success, this is where it all started because I landed a residency from these nights.
I then moved onto Fusion where I have been for the past 18 months. This move has been a major step up for me because I’m now playing at one of the biggest clubs in Cumbria to some of the most up for it crowds in the County. While I have been there I have been part of the Sundissential tour Djing with the likes of Lisa pin up, Rachel auburn & Charlotte Birch. I have also dj’ed alongside : Yomanda, Matt Hardwick, Des Mitchell, Fragma, Marc et Claude, DJ Flickman, Jim shaft Ryan and Paul Hilier to name but a few. I also have a second residency @ the loft in Keswick,Cumbria.
Apart from my residencies I have also Dj’ed at ISIS (Workington), Insomnia (Keswick) & Freedom (Carlisle)
